Individual Solutions

The transition from an expert “doer” to a strategic leader is rarely a matter of working harder; it is a matter of thinking differently.

For an experienced professional, the “80-hour grind” is often a biological and professional ceiling that actively erodes executive function and the physical wellbeing central to high performance.

Capabilities like deep focus, sustained motivation and attention, relational intelligence, emotional regulation, and high-level strategic thinking are not just nice-to-haves; they are key to unlocking your next level of authentic leadership, especially in this era of AI-powered automation.

I partner with professionals from senior associate level to senior partners to build the skills and resilience necessary for high-stakes authentic management and leadership.

By blending my experience as an international litigator with the insights of a neuroscientist, I use a bespoke toolkit to sharpen your presence, communicate with impact, and build a high-performance team, ensuring you have the clarity and resilience to lead in any environment, on your own terms.

Examples of the capabilities and problems I work on with my clients include:

Cognitive Optimisation – the “Clear Judgement” Protocol

The Capability: Optimising your brain for performance and mastering deep focus while managing cognitive load amidst high-volume demands.

The Visible Result: A shift from constant “firefighting” to strategic clarity. You stop reacting to your inbox and start dictating the pace of your files, reclaiming the “space between” for high-level thinking.

Adaptive Resilience – the “Zero Chaos” Protocol

The Capability:  Learning how to steady your mind when the pressure is highest, whether you’re dealing with difficult team dynamics or a high-stakes crisis.

The Visible Result: It’s about clearing the mental noise, ensuring your ‘unassailable premium’ remains intact, protecting both your mental clarity and physical stamina during the most draining periods. You’ll find you have the “breathing room” to stay motivated and calm, making sure your judgment and communication stays sharp even when everyone else is reacting to the chaos.

Relational Intelligence & Diverse Leadership

The Capability: Cross-cultural and neurodiversity-aware emotional intelligence; advanced relational management and leadership.

The Visible Result: You build high-functioning, inclusive teams where cognitive differences are assets rather than liabilities. You gain the tools to navigate multi-jurisdictional politics while fostering an environment where diverse minds – such as those with ADHD – can thrive.

Executive Presence & Impact

The Capability: High-stakes communication, including body language, voice work, and drafting for strategic impact.

The Visible Result: You move beyond “getting through your points” to “commanding attention”. By leaning into your authentic style, you communicate with a level of authority that forces the environment to adapt to your expertise, not the other way around.

Professional Sovereignty

The Capability: Assertiveness, boundary-setting, and dismantling imposter syndrome through biological confidence.

The Visible Result: The ability to defend your experience with pride. You stop being a “passenger” in your career and start curating your own trajectory. You gain the clarity to decide whether your current environment indeed serves that trajectory and the unshakeable confidence to pivot, negotiate, or lead elsewhere on your own terms.

Frequently Asked Questions

life-coach-hong-kong

Currently, I coach exclusively one-on-one in person and by Zoom in Hong Kong and by Zoom globally. My clients hail from the UK, Sweden, East and West Coast of the US, Cayman Islands, Bermuda, Singapore, Hong Kong, Australia, South Africa and more.

I personalise each programme to each client’s needs. Having said that, most challenges can be effectively addressed in a space of three to four months through a program of six to eight sessions taking place every two to three weeks.

I like to be flexible and generous with my time, which is why I conduct only two sessions per day. That way I don’t have to put a time limit on each session, although most last about two hours.

I also offer one-off sessions, yearly engagements for ongoing support, and ad-hoc refresher sessions for returning clients.

My fees range from USD 6,000 to 25,000 (HKD 50,000 to HKD 200,000), depending on the programme we choose together to address your individualneeds.

1) I have been fortunate enough to have been raised in a way that encouraged learning, exploration, and creativity. As such, I grew up with a wide variety of interests, from music to literature, science, and the natural world, and later in life, human psychology and brain sciences. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience from one of the top liberal arts colleges in the US, Bates College—a multi-disciplinary degree combining psychology, ethics, philosophy, biology, chemistry, organisational and social psychology, with neuroscience.

In 2010, I re-qualified as a lawyer in England (solicitor advocate – England and Wales, and BVI qualified – non-practising) and practiced as an international commercial litigator for the following 13 years in top law firms across London, Paris, Geneva, British Virgin Islands, and the Cayman Islands. What that meant in practice is that I advised clients in industries as diverse as oil and gas, pharmaceuticals, airports, and luxury hotel chains, often in three languages, in their disputes with other commercial entities all over the world.

2) I have a unique and varied background that allows me to identify and empathise with a wide variety of people. Among the highlights are:

  • Being born in the Soviet Union and growing up as a British American.
  • Having moved countries nine times and houses over 30 times.
  • Having travelled to over 50 countries.
  • Speaking three languages fluently (English, French, and Russian) and understanding two others to a passable degree (Spanish and Italian).
  • Having lived through many illnesses as a child and continuing to live with congenital issues that I do not allow to impact my life (to the extent that I can).
  • Having survived a Category 7 hurricane while living in the Caribbean.
  • Having changed careers twice to finally arrive exactly where I’m meant to be.
  • Having married later in life to exactly the right person.

3) Because of the above, I coach from a generous, empowered, and sensitive position of a woman who has been through a lot and believes in the awesome human ability to change the world for the better. I am not afraid of much and am not constrained by much. It is from this place I coach others to achieve everything they are capable of.

We have an in-depth conversation about the life you are striving for and the obstacles standing in your way. We use my comprehensive questionnaire to open up the conversation to ascertain what aspects of your life you would like support in. I tell you about background and my coaching philosophy. If the fit is right, I will then make you a proposal, outlining what we can achieve together and the practicalities of doing so.

Often there will be homework, sometimes there will be none.

Homework takes the form of reading books and articles I recommend, watching podcasts/documentaries and researching relevant topics, practicing new skills, and making progress with whatever tasks you’re in the middle of (e.g. if I’m supporting you through a job search, you will be doing research on the best opportunities and applying for those jobs, with my help).

Most of my programmes include 24/7/365 support over WhatsApp for anything that requires my input between sessions.

We will set specific goals for you in the beginning of our coaching relationship. Aside from those, my clients walk away with a clear direction for the future and understanding on how to get there, a renewed or newly-found sense of purpose, a sense of empowerment and confidence, increased motivation, a reduction in bad habits, and a healthier overall routine.

No. My clients must be dynamic, inspiring, hardworking, driven people who, above all, never want to stop learning. They don’t rest on their laurels and are always striving for more.

I strongly believe that every clever, hardworking, driven individual who wants to achieve something great deserves all the support they need to first identify their own personal "something great" and then to achieve it. Because when we are operating from an authentic place of love for what we do, we offer the best of ourselves to the world, do a better job, and feel more fulfilled in the process.

In this hyper-individualistic world where asking for help is often perceived as a weakness, I offer a different narrative—one where the biggest breakthroughs happen through transformative conversations that challenge, inform, and widen one’s perspective. In this world starved of thoughtful, deep conversations, I offer exactly that, from a well-informed and multi-disciplinary place. In short, I love empowering people to achieve their own definition of success.

Therapy addresses past trauma through various psychotherapeutic techniques. It can take years to unpack and reframe events that have had and continue to have a negative impact on one’s life. As I am not a psychiatrist, I can refer you to a trusted network of professionals who can assist with any areas that may require help.

Counseling supports people during difficult periods of life, such as the loss of a loved one or divorce. Like therapy, it is a process that can take significant time.

Coaching, by contrast, is typically a faster process focused on achieving concrete, practical results. While improved mental health is often a byproduct, the primary goal is to clarify one’s objectives, identify and overcome obstacles, and implement tangible steps to achieve them.
